In a Garden

I'm in a garden I hold dear,
No loud accusing hooters here.
Just elegance as grasses sway
And nature's sighs caress the day.

The insolence of angry hearts,
is softened by the sound of larks
And swooping low, the swallows wing,
To sip the well where goldfish swim.

The silence mocks the town's great roar,
No belching fumes, no slamming door.
No bitter fight to be the first,
No anxious quest to quench a thirst.

Here, where gentle peace prevails
And pace of life contests the snails,
Here there's time for love and care,
That's why I'm here and am not THERE!!
